AKMAX Military ALICE Pack Tactical Rucksack Army Backpack with Frame Multicam

Use High Density 1000D Waterproof two layers PU coating treated Oxford Fabric with UTX Buckles. It is in Army Multicam Camouflage Color.

PACKING:Including:1x ALICE Combat Field pack, 1x ALICE Pack External Frame(with 2 Shoulder Straps, 1x Kidney Waist Belt). The ALICE Pack Universal Size consists of a Pouch with draw cord closure and Five outside pockets.

Three Utility Pocket with strap and buckle adjustable closures and with snap fasteners for quick access, are provided for miscellaneous items. Two Bigger Pockets are provided at the side of the Rucksack for carrying Radio or some other necessary Day Supply. The ALICE Pack Universal Size must be used with the LC-1 Field Pack Frame.

The ALICE Pouch has a separate pocket to accommodate the Radio. Tie down cords and D rings inside the pouch can be used to shorten the Pack when it is not to be filled to capacity.

The pouch flap has a pocket that can be opened by pulling two tabs apart. Small flat items can be carried in this pocket. Pressing flap sides together closes it. Hangers are also provided for carrying individual equipment. The ALICE Field Pack is carried on the soldiers back by attaching to the pack frame.

An envelope pocket is located at the top, back of the ALICE Pack and padded with spacer cloth, into which the field pack frame is inserted when the field pack is used on the field Pack Frame. Buckles and straps at each side near the bottom are used for anchoring the Field Pack to the Field Pack Frame. Two rectangular wire loops located at the top back of the field pack and D rings on each side at the bottom of the field pack are used to provide shoulder strap attachment. ALICE pack padded and easily adjustable shoulder straps help relieve pressure, meanwhile the Kidney Pad strap on the frame also helps heave loading.

Quick Release Buckle allows the pack to drop immediately while in emergency situation. Mixed Aluminum and Iron External Frame makes it lightweight but stronger. Instead of Mould Metal Buckles, the Multicam ALICE Pack whole system adopts UTX Heave Buckles, which not only make the Rucksacks appears more fashionable, but also lighter and easier to use.

All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) introduced in 1974 was made up of components for two types of load: the "Fighting Load" and the "Existence Load". The ALICE Pack system was designed for use in all environments, whether hot, temperate, cold-wet or even cold-dry arctic conditions. It is still quite popular among not only military users, but also Camping, Traveling, Hiking, Hunting, Bug Out, and Soft games. The ALICE Pack System retains the concept of separate Fighting and Existence loads that was refined in the mid- 1950s during the development of the LCE. The most important point in the fighting and existence loads concept is that an infantry rifleman should carry only the items necessary to complete the immediate mission at hand. The load an infantry rifleman carries should not include any other item that can be carried another way. Because the type of mission, terrain, and environmental conditions will influence the clothing and individual equipment requirements, the unit commander may prescribe to the infantry rifleman the essential items. The prime purpose of the fighting and existence loads concept is to lighten an infantry rifleman's load.

The ALICE Pack System has been phased out of all Active and Reserve Component units in the Army. Basic and Advanced Individual Training units.

The Navy and USAF use ALICE gear for ground personnel as well, although the USAF is phasing out ALICE in favor of MOLLE. The Marine Corps still issues the medium ALICE pack for some radio operators. Both it and the large variant can still be found with NROTC units (who train Marine officers in addition to Navy officers). Small maneuver elements which rely on lightweight pack design and durability still use ALICE packs today.
